What’s a WOD?

Workout of the Day. Everyday, a new workout will post on our web site, for you and your class to complete the next day. Some days you’ll be the hammer and some days you’ll be the nail, but over time you’ll begin to find yourself dishing out more hits than you take.

Why Am I Eating Like A Caveman?

Because obesity was not an epidemic amongst our ancestors! There were no processed foods or carbonated drinks or junk foods loaded with sugar. Eating was a matter of survival. We don’t take it that literally, but we do believe that nutrition and diet should be approached as a way to eat and support exercise, but no more. This means following the Paleo diet which focuses on meats, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. No dairy, no gluten, no grains. No fun? Hardly. Other Lingo

RX - This literally means as prescribed. So if you can complete a workout as it is drawn on the board without having to scale or lighten the weights, then you have RX’d that WOD!

Burpee- Starting in a standing position, you drop your chest to the floor, perform a pushup, jump to your feet, and clap your hands behind your head, while jumping off the ground. Repeat.
